P.G.D.C.A Technical College, Vijaynagar, was established in June 2007 by the Rajpur Kelavani Mandal. It is situated in a remote, hilly and tribal area and is affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. The university allows 60 students per year and has maintained a record of 100% results for the past two years. A well-experienced teaching and non-teaching staff consistently focus on providing the best educational & facility to its students with teaching and learning sessions, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. We focus on sharing knowledge, skills, moral values, community orientation, and creating good citizens who wish to be successful in their career and help in the upliftment of this society and surrounding areas. The university supports and promotes the Digital India initiative to the local community, and especially the social and economically backward students can further benefit from such policies and programmes.

About Course

About PGDCA: PGDCA is a 1-year diploma course that will give you a sound understanding of basic computer applications in business, covering key programming languages, database management, systems analysis, computer software development in specific applications (studies, financial management, etc.)

Eligibility Criteria: A student is eligible to take this course after completing their 3-year graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised college/university, i.e. (10+2+3 education format). The candidate must have completed their graduation/ post-graduation with a minimum of 10+2+4 years of formal education with Mathematics as one of the main subjects, from a recognized university/institute.

Admission Process: The admission process is both through entrance and merit. Candidates appearing in the PGDCA entrance exams have to undergo a counselling round for final seat allocation.

Career Options & Job Prospects: The student of PGDCA is also eligible to get direct admission to the second year of the MSc (IT) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course if they complete PGDCA from a recognised institution/university. The average salary offered for this course ranges between Rs 2 to 10 Lakh annually, which increases with experience and expertise.

The college campus is a WIFI campus with a well-stocked library, a well-furnished digital lab with 100 computers, and the latest software/applications.
