Established in June 1980, Shri K.J Patel High School, also known as Parosada High School, provides Vijaynagar Taluka’s children education. The school educates the students of the rural, mostly backward Vijaynagar Taluka. The torch of educating the illiterate in the village has passed down to M.N Patel, the President of RajpurKelavani Mandal, who manages the school and imparts affordable education to the underprivileged. Parosada High School believes in both the academic and physical development of the child. Thus, the teachers are encouraged to conduct various programmes that can aid students in developing their own unique skill sets. The atmosphere is optimistic, and creativity is cherished and encouraged to be developed further in students.

Parosada may be located in rurally populated Vijayanagar, but the school aims to impart quality education to everyone. The school’s objective is to encourage students’ achievements and help them hone their skills and talents.

About Course

The course at Parosada High School is tailored to keep up with the current global standards in education. The students of Parasoda are encouraged to have a well-balanced academic life, supplemented with co-curricular activities like sports programmes, inter-school competitions, cultural programmes, and more. The students are encouraged to participate in festivals’ celebrations to acquaint them with inclusivity and values to respect each religion.

The Holistic environment at school also encourages participation in all sports events one if the example is AsariNirmabhenBhurabhai where our students, were conferred with the gold medal last year for acing the National Level Athletic Games and were encouraged to complete their training in different states while the school supports their education and training simultaneously.

Standard - The Parosadaschool provides a holistic education to children from class 9 to class 12. The students are prepared for higher secondary education.
Student Strength - The school has 387 students, out of which 195 are boys, and 192 are girls.

Parosada High School aims to cultivate curiosity and core values in all students. We teach students such values that will give them lifelong guidance in whatever they might choose to do. Our faculty is trained to handle students of all the age groups, and we try to ensure that students’ physical and mental health is protected at Parosada. The students are motivated and encouraged to reason with the teachers to expand their thinking verticals. Students of Parosada are also encouraged to participate in community engagement, and values of kinship, empathy, and tolerance are imparted from the very beginning. Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Parosada High School is designed to make learning more fun for students. Equipped with state-of-the-art education technology, Parosada allows students to engage in practicals and smart technology. The classrooms have a low student-teacher ratio to improve the quality of education. The school has 10 teachers and 3 non-teaching staff, specially trained in modern teaching methods. Education is provided indiscriminately to both boys and girls of Vijayanagar. Parosada High School also has residential facilities for boys- Vanvasi Kumar Chhatralay. The facilities of the hostel are provided free of cost to children from nearby locations.
